Final Report - The State and Health of the EO Service Industry (Precursor
to the present eoVox study) This
report, commissioned by ESA EOMD and prepared by VEGA Group plc and Booz
Allen Hamilton, summarises the main findings of the investigation into the
current state of the European and Canadian EO service industry. (This is a
link to a zip file on ESA’s EOMD web site). 2. eoVox Report T1 – Analysis
of Industry Issues for Representation This
is the first report published by the eoVox consortium. It presents the
findings from the initial consultation of the EO value adding sector and
existing EO-related representation bodies in Europe and 3. eoVox Report T2 – Analysis
of Scope for Representation This
is the second report published by the eoVox consortium. It presents an
analysis of the scope for representation, by examining various possible
candidate missions of a representation body for the EO value adding sector,
and analysing the anticipated benefits and beneficiaries for each. It is a
public report and can be downloaded (PDF format). 4. eoVox Report T3 – Analysis
of Services This is the third report published by the eoVox consortium. It looks at the services that an EO trade association (EOTA) might offer its members. It follows on from the survey of the EO industry in Task 1 and the work in Task 2 to identify candidate “missions” for an EOTA, where a “mission” is taken as a group of services for a specific audience – the “services” being the activities required to deliver the mission. It is a public report and can be downloaded (PDF format). 5. eoVox Position
Paper on the Industry Agenda This position paper written by the eoVox team poses the question: “What should the Public Sector do to incubate the Earth observation value-adding sector?” It sets out the importance of the EO VA sector and the risks and challenges it currently faces, and goes on to chart out a “Road Map” for the industry for the next 10 years. It identifies definite development actions that can be publicly funded to help the sector grow and strengthen itself. It is a public paper and can be downloaded (PDF format). 6.
eoVox Report T4.2 – Representation Brochure This is the fourth report published by the eoVox consortium. It aims to capture the ‘selling points’ of an EO trade association, by systematically identifying the range of services an EO trade association could offer, and describing the process of delivery of each service, with clear definitions of the targets, beneficiaries and benefits of each. It follows on from the reports T1, T2 and T3 presented above. It is a public report and can be downloaded (PDF format). 7.
eoVox Report T4.1 – Analysis of Representation Mechanisms This
is the fifth report published by the eoVox consortium. It provides more
detailed information on the human and financial resources required to deliver an appropriate level of service, together with a recommendation on a sustainable and preferred model of income and expenditure. It should be read in conjunction with Report T4.2 above. It is a public report and can be downloaded (PDF format). |
